The yin aspect of the spirit 靈 [líng] is used in this point instead of the commmonly used [神 shén], which usually used to represent spirit that the heart stores.
•Location【部位 bù wèi】:
On the medial aspect of the arm, just medial to the biceps brachii muscle, 3 cun superior to the cubital crease.
Note: With the elbow flexed and the arm abducted, HT2 is located at the junction of the upper two thirds and lower one third of the line connecting HT1 with HT3.
•Needling【針法 zhēn fǎ】:
Needle 0.5-1 cun perpendicular and avoid the brachial artery 3-5 Moxa cons and 10-15 minutes of moxa stick
•Indication【主治 zhǔ zhì】:
Pain and inability to raise the shoulder and arm, ulnar nerve palsy
