章 [zhāng]: complete, a strain of music, a chapter

Location【部位 bù wèi】:

On the lateral abdomen, inferior to the free extremity of the 11th rib.

Note: LR13 can be located while the subject is lying on the side with the shoulder flexed. The free extremity of the 11th rib can be palpated below the inferior border of the costal arch.

Needling【針法 zhēn fǎ】:

Directly needle 0.3-0.5 cun toward the lower end of the rib, not deep insertion and no more of 0.5-1.5 cun. 3-5 Moxa cons and moxa stick about 10-15 minutes.

Action【功效 gōng xiào】:

Coursing and discharging liver and gall bladder [疏泄肝膽 shū xiè gān dǎn]

Fortifying the spleen and dispersing stagnation [健脾消滯 jiàn pí xiāo zhì]

•Indication【主治 zhǔ zhì】:

Classical: abdominal distension, bowel sounds, diarrhea, hypochondriac pain, lumpiness, jaundice, vomiting, yellow and thin body, not addicted to food, wheezing, heartache and vomiting, lazy limbs, full chest and flanks, inability to eat, cold hole Ejaculation, low back pain, obesity change to urinate, children’s addiction moxibustion can not be eliminated.
Modern: pleurisy, cholelithiasis, indigestion, hepatosplenomegaly, hepatitis, enteritis, hiccups.
