needle 0.5 to 1 cun perpendicular. Moxa 3 to 5 cons, and moxa stick is 10 to 15 minutes.
•Action【功效 gōng xiào】:
Clear heat and resolve the exterior [清熱解表 qīng ré jiě biǎo]
Depurative downbearing of lung qi [肅降肺氣 sù jiàng fèi qi] and relieve the throat [利咽 lì yán]
Cool the blood and stop bleeding [涼血止血 liáng xuě zhǐ xuě]

fever, sweating, hot flashes, cough, asthma, hemoptysis, headache, swollen throat, aphonia, elbow and arm pain, difficulty in flexion and extension, bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, tonsillitis, hemorrhoid blood.
