Name【名稱 mīng chéng】:

經 [jīng] : channel, river  

渠 [qú] : gutter, ditch, canal

The character 經 [jīng] is used in Chinese medicine is related not only the channels, but also the river-jing points, because the original meaning of the character had to do with the flow of water, implying the flow at the point.

Location【部位 bù wèi】:

On the anterolateral aspect of the forearm, between the radial styloid process and the radial artery, 1 cun superior to the palmar wrist crease.

Needling【針法 zhēn fǎ】:

Needle 0.3-0.5 cun away from blood vessels. Direct moxibustion is forbidden to avoid damage to radial artery.

Action【功效 gōng xiào】:

Diffuse of lung qi [宣肺氣 xuān fèi qì]

Relieve the throat [利咽 lì yán] and reviving the pulse [復脈 fū mài]

•Indication 主治【zhǔ zhì】:

Classical: Cough, asthma, shortness of breath, fever, sweating, swelling, swelling in the chest, shortness of time, chest and back pain, heartache and vomiting, throat numbness, wrist pain, palm heat, foot pain,
Modern: Sore throat, pulselessness.

•Point pair 配穴 [pèi xué] :
