This point is the cleft-xi point of the liver channel, at which qi and blood gather just as people gather in a large metropolis
•Location【部位 bù wèi】:
•On the anteromedial aspect of the leg, at the centre of the medial border (surface) of the tibia, 7 cun proximal to the prominence of the medial malleolus.
•Needling【針法 zhēn fǎ】:
Needle 0.5-1 cun perpendicular along the posterior edge of the tibia. 1-3 Moxa cons and 3-5 minutes moxa stick
•Action【功效 gōng xiào】:
Coursing the liver and rectify qi (疏肝理氣) regulate menstruation and constrain the blood (調經攝血)
•Indication【主治 zhǔ zhì】:
Classical: full stomach, abdominal pain, diarrhea, hernia, vaginal pain, metrorrhagia, uterine bleeding, postpartum lochia, shin cold arthralgia, inability to stand, foot heat.
Modern: viral hepatitis, dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
